SHIPPING QUESTIONS

I do not live near Central Texas, "Are there any options for me?"

  1. PREFERRED - You take one day to fly in/out round~trip. I will meet you at the airport free of charge. The airport options are: Austin, Dallas, and Houston. You can usually find discount airline tickets for bargain if you begin looking. The puppy flies with you as a carry-on. Check to be sure your airline allows pets (most of them do allow).

  2. PET TRANSPORT SERVICE - I can recommend one or two. You are responsible for finding a transport service.

  3. FLYING ALONE AA PetEmbark. - This is only an option when the weather is within range. I use American Airlines Pet Transport cargo.

IS IT SAFE FOR MY PUPPY TO FLY WITH ME?

  • The puppy is very safe to fly with you. The puppy must ride in a soft sided carrier (you bring). The carrier is placed under the seat in front of you, at your feet.

WILL MY PUPPY BARK THE WHOLE TRIP?

  • No! I have flown both internationally and state-side with my dogs and also cats (many times) and they do not bark. My opinion is that engine hum is soothing and puts animals to sleep.

IS IT SAFE TO FLY IN AMERICAN AIRLINES PETEBARK TRANSPORT?

  • I have used American Airlines since 2013 successfully. I have also imported animals from other countries successfully (very long transit). However, be AWARE that there are scary stories!

  • In 2019, the DOT reports there were 8 deaths, 11 injuries, and 0 lost pets and total transportation was 404,556 animals.

  • The weather must not be colder than 10F or hotter than 85F.
